The Mediocre Players Guide to Thronebreaker EQ
May 2023
Old Sarge's Initial Thoughts: First pass was pretty easy. A couple rough fights here and there but nothing too crazy. All the Boss fights are pretty easy except maybe Ebony maw (though I had a great fight against him) and Corvus takes forever but it's not hard. 2.2, 3.1, and 3.2 have the #Champs. But since they added the Class champs it's not too bad. Looks like a pretty easy month.
Old Sarge's Final Thoughts: Another pretty easy month imo. Not too many Landmines. Bosses were pretty easy overall. New champs aren't bad either.
Good luck to everyone running EQ this month, I hope this guide helps. As always- when someone posts a champ that kills a quest or a Boss, I'll update this spreadsheet!
NOTE: June's EQ Guide will be delayed by approximately 1 week do to family obligations!!
Chapter 1.1: MUTANT
Main Nodes:
"Seeing Red: You take 90% less bleed damage. Launching a Special removes the bleed and gives you a fury.
Biohazard: 20% chance to get a bleed when you strike them. 50% chance you get a poison if you hit their block.
Bloodletting: Increase duration of bleed effects by 100%"
Bring:
Omega Red! OML. Colossus. Apoc. Rogue, Cable. Iceman. Sauron (resists bleed and poison immune)Any mutant champ works just don't hit into their block. Easy life!
NOTE: Domino and ArchAngel seem to be struggling to gain furies. Maybe something to do with how they reduce Ability Accuracy on the defender- I don't know.
Random Champ That Kills It: Ghost
Landmine Path Fights:
Easy Path | Portal C: Watch out for Stryfe and his random Invisibility.
Portal A: First fight is a pain in the ass Mordo- I used Omega Red against him the 2nd run and it was easy (had to restart the path because of the next fight). Second fight is Terrax and he is a big pain- I lost 2 champs and started over- 2nd pass I used Kitty and it was an easy W- Phase Everything!!. Next is Gorr- bait the SP1. Only other hard fight is Apoc- he starts beefy and Stun Immune because this is the Mutant path and all I brought were Mutants- I solo'd him with my 5* Omega Red- such a beast for this quest!!
Quest Boss: Ronan (Cosmic)
Main Nodes:
Limber: Every time Ronan is stunned he reduces the duration.
Enhanced Special 2: Deals more damage and the first part is Unblockable.
Power Focus 2: Gains *60% Combat Power Rate under 2 Bars. Suffers -80% reduced Combat Power Rate above 2 Bars.
Ebb and Flow - Knock Down: Has protection reducing damage unless you knock him down (heavy or Special). Shuts down for 12 seconds after a Knock Down.
Stand Still! - 3: Each time you dodge/dex Ronan gets a Fury Passive. When he gets 7 Fury Passives he goes Unstoppable for 7 seconds. Fury's are removed when Unstoppable is over.
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: Pretty easy fight with CapIW. Played Parry/Heavy, just don't try to sneak a light/medium in before you heavy. I had 0 problems. Blocked the beam of the one SP2 that he threw. He was quick on the trigger with his SP1s.
Round 2: Super easy fight with a ramped up Apoc. Nothing to say here- just bait the SP1, he seems to be excited to throw it vs waiting for his SP2.
Final Round: Easy W for Red Mags (he is #METAL). I did get clipped by his SP1 when it somehow managed to reach across the entire screen. But by that time he was bleeding out to about 6% health. So I went in with Gambit and one heavy was all it took. lol.
Civilian Intel:
Sunspot works Great!
Rintrah: Easy to pin him and Heavy before SP2, easy to rack up ruptures thanks to Power Focus.
Dragon Man wipes the floor with him.
Juggs does the Juggs things and makes this a cake walk.
Boss Fight:
Hammy Plays MCOC
Chapter 1.2: MYSTIC
Main Nodes:
Occult Equilibrium: If you regen you power drain them.
Siphoning Strength: Each time you power drain/Burn/Steal the defender you get a fury.
Power Overwhelming: The more power they have the less damage you do.
Bring:
Doom (Sp1 Spam), Claire (Sp2 in Bleed mode), Sorcerer Supreme (start on Power Control phase), Dr Voodoo (spam Sp2), Mojo, Dormammu, Diablo (with Prefight "Nullify"), OG Guillotine, Hood (awakened), Wong (use his regen spell + energy spell), Magik- Spam SP2 as soon as you get it. Ebony Maw (power drain on Heavy attack)
Landmine Path Fights:
Up | Right: First fight is Toad. Toad can be a pain if you don't bring a Poison Immune- I used Doom but he lost about 50% of his health. Misty is the 2nd to last fight and she can be a pain in the ass- I used Doom again.
Down | Right: First fight is Doom. Doom did Doom things but I took him down with Dr Voodoo. Next up is Emma Frost- I used Doom but I brough Mr. F along so Doom's heavies would Armor Break. Wasn't horrible- but Doom still took some damage. But tat was OK cause Jabari was kind enough to put a bunch of Non-Damaging Debuffs on me and Doom healed back up to 100%.
Down: First fight is Korg- things can get outta hand quick with him so I brought White Mags and used his Pre-Fight on him- easy W with Doom after that. Last 2 fights can be a pain- first is Stealthy and he sucks a lot. I lost Dr Voodoo quick here- I couldn't get any rhythm going and Parry wouldn't stick (yes I know how to Parry him). Doom did fine though- Parry decided to work. Last fight is Sasquatch- I used Doom and it went well. But Sassy is one of those defenders where everything can seem to be going fantastic and the next thing you know he has you cornered against the wall and is shoving his fur up your arse while you cry.
Quest Boss: Hit-Monkey (Skill)
Main Nodes:
Ohhh-Ohhh Ahhh-Ahhh!: You are treated as a #Mercenary for Hit-Monkeys abilities while he is below 35% Health.
Physical Resistance: He has extra resistance.
Turtling: If you don't lang a hit in 6 seconds he gets an Armor Up buff- Max 3 Stacks.
Enhanced Parry - 50% Power Gain: You get a 50% Power gain buff for each Parry. Does not stack.
Encroaching Stun: Every 20 seconds you become Stunned for 3 seconds, unless you are performing an SP1 or SP2 when the timer expires.
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: DAMMIT!! Almost had the solo with Iceman He is really solid for this fight but I got greedy. While his Ice Armor is Up he is immune to stun so that negates Encroaching Stun. If you use his SP2 right after Encroaching Stun timer goes off you still have enough time for Ice Armor to reform before the Stun Timer hits 0. But safe bet is use SP1. But with Enhanced Parry- you gain a lot of Power. I think I'll save for SP3 next time. NOTE- Hit-Monkey will still evade after SP1 because he shrugs the Coldsnap. Still- Iceman is a great counter to this fight. Finished him off with Nick Fury- Nick is stun immune in his Real Nick Fury phase FYI- another solid Option, and his SPs are really long so it is easier to time the Encroaching Stun.
Round 2-4: I just ran Apoc each time. Can't shrug his stuns. On one path I had a mutant so I used Apoc to get the ramp up and he annihilates Hit-Monkey with 4 charges. Parry/Haevy. Apoc's SPs are really long so I only got caught once in 3 fights with Encroaching Stun.
Civilian Intel:
Sorcerer Supreme: Her long special animations give you some cushion with encroaching stun.
Peni Parker (with Air Walker/Falcon synergy): This makes Peni stun immune, countering the encroaching stun node. The power gain on parry makes the rotation really easy. 2 SP1 to get a bunch of charges, then unleash SP2 to finish.
Ebony Maw works pretty well here.
Boss Fight:
Hammy Plays MCOC
Chapter 2.1: SCIENCE
Main Nodes:
Just bring Science champs that are immune to Poison. If you don't have that then dex and parry to remove the poisons they are going to put on you.
Also: bring a science attacker that puts non-damaging debuffs on the defender.
Bring:
Ibomb, CapIW, Abom, SheHulk, RedHulk, Overseer, Anti-Venom, Scorpion (use either of his prefights), iHULK, AntMan, GHulk
MrF (his ‘Debuff Syphon’ pre-fight turns the poison into a healing node for any champion- and it is a non-damaging debuff)
Landmine Path Fights:
Easy Path: First fight is Shocker (solo'd with iBom but he's a pain- I really need to learn how to fight him). There is also a MODOK (used CapIW) as well. And next is Mangog (used CapIW again). With an Ultron Classic (and... CapIW again again)and his passive evades.
Down | Left Path: First fight is Jubilee. America Chavez could be tough- just don't let her do a heavy, if she does make sure you interrupt it. After that it's easy. (Torch, as always- will slay her). The only hard fight (for me anyway) was Kitty she took out 2 of my champs. Stay close to her and don't let her dash at you. Block the SP1 but try to push her to SP2. And DON'T try to intercept her like I kept doing!!
Down | Right Path: A lot of power gain on this path and the node gives them increased Power gain as well. I brought Mr. F along and used his pre-fights on Purgatory and Hyperion - they still gained a ton of Power.
Quest Boss: Corvus Glaive (Cosmic)
Main Nodes:
Rise to Power - 3: Knock him down and a 4 second timer starts. While it is active every time he lands a hit or strikes you block he gets 50% of a Bar of Power.
Evasive Maneuvers - 2: When you knock him down he gets an Evade Charge for 8 Seconds. He will evade your attack.
While the Iron is Hot: Each time you hit him while he is cornered against the wall you gain a Prowess. These are consumed when you launch a Special Attack. While you have a Prowess his Combat Power Rate is increased by 5% for each Prowess you have- Max of 50%.
Make a Stand - 3: He reduces damage by 90% until you knock him down- which will then give him an evade charge. Protection goes down for 15 seconds after you knock him down.
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: This is just a really really boring fight. The Evasive Maneuvers node is just dumb. All it does is make the fight 10x longer than it should be. Whatever. His SPs are easy to dex, just watch out for the increased power gain and knock him down before you throw an SP and wait out the timer or attack and dash back to remove the evade charge. I used Iceman for 98% of it but he got to SP3 when I missed timed a parry and he hit my block and shot up in power. Also- why doesn't Iceman's Coldsnap stop his evade? Is he bugged?
Round 2: Man oh man- Hulkling just destroys him. Build up to SP2, Heavy, let him block and do 4 hits into the block, he evades and you launch SP2. Two SP2s and he was done.
Round 3: I kept missing Parry with Hulkling. But Overseer handles this fight really well. So he is an excellent option. Build to SP3 and 6 of his Charges and then Parry/Heavy to remove Protection and then Parry/SP3 and immediately wail on him.
Rounds 4 & 5: Used Galan for an easy W. Build up Planetary Mass, Parry/Heavy, SP2. Repeat if needed.
Civilian Intel:
Shang Chi: Put slow on him first, back him in the corner and use SP2 when his Protection is down for a ton of damage.
Falcon: Locked On ignores evade and without that the fight goes quick.
Galan: Just bait CG’s specials until you’ve built up enough Mass to slap him down. Then, Heavy, wait out the Evade timer, and SP2 to finish him. Galan is perfect because you don’t want to knock him down and activate that evade nonsense.
Ebony Maw: PHASE THE WORLD!!
Longshot burns him down.
#Metal, you know the man to pick. Don’t have to worry about evade since you’re spamming parry-heavy. Just make sure you get enough prowess buffs since the bleed from the sp3 won’t affect Corvus.
Boss Fight:
Hammy Plays MCOC
Chapter 2.2: TECH | #Avenger
Main Nodes:
Short Temper: Each Cross Charge gives you a +30% Attack Rating. After winning a fight. you convert that Cross Charge with you (up to 5 Cross Charges) into Fury Passives and those last the next 2 fights.
Critically Drained: #Avengers Attackers and Tech's gain a Power Drain Charge whenever they land a Critical Hit on the Defender. Performing a Medium combo ender consumes all charges and inflicts a Power Drain on the Defender for each charge consumed, each draining 5% of the Defender’s Max Power.
Power Exchange: #Avengers Attackers and Techs gain a Cross Charge each time they Power Drain, Burn or Lock the Defender. Max stacks 10.
Explanation: Land a crit to gain a power drain charge. Performing a combo ending with Medium consumes all charges and applies a 5% power drain for each charge. Each time you power drain/burn/lock, gain a cross charge. Defender gains an energize passive after throwing a special.
Bring:
Tech: Power Drainers will beast this Quest. Warlock, G2099, Civil Warrior, Vision(s), HulkBuster, Peni, etc...
#Avengers: Ant-Man, OG BP, BPCW, OG Black Widow, BWDO, OG Cap, CapIW, Cap Sam Wilson, Falcon, Hawkey, OG Hulk, Gladiator Hulk, HulkBuster, OG Ironman, IMIW, Kate Bishop, Mantis, Namor, QuickSilver, Ronin, Sigil Scarlet Witch, OG Thor, Thor Rags, Vision, Vision AOU
Power Control champs are an option as well.
Old Sarge Says: Pretty straight forward fights. Do a bunch of lights and hope for crits and then throw a Medium to power drain. Or use Vision, HB etc to power drain. Falcon is really good for this quest. Locked On increases crit rating and you'll crit more often. Throw a MLLLM after 4-6 charges to do decent power drain. Use HB, Hawkeye, or Vision(s) to just do a normal power drain.
Landmine Path Fights:
Middle Left | Portal 2: If you don't use Relics- this is a shit path. If you do use Relics- it's still a Shit Path, but less shitty. Without Relics you have -90% power gain. Which imo, is BS since Kabam said Relic's would only enhance the game- not diminish it. You will want to bind Relics, even shitty ones, or you will pretty much not gain Power. And there are some shitty fights on this path. But when you do have Relics (and you have to use them to gain power) you gain more power than you need for most of the champs that drain power from SP's like Warlock's SP1 or HulkBusters SP2, cause Kabam in all their infinite Wisdom made it a % of Power Gain instead of just a Bar or half a bar. So you consistently overshoot the SP bar you need to use. OK- Rant Over- now the Fights- First up is OG Vision- I used Red Mags (he doesn't gain any benifit from the Tech or #Avengers, but he wrecks #METAL. I also used him for the DarkHawk fight later on. He HAS to have a Relic attached though so you can get to your SP3. Just build staright up to your SP3 with full combos and Relic attacks and then Parry/Heavy up to 11 Prowess and then Hold Heavy to 40+ Prowess and unleash the SP3. The rest of the Champs will gain a ton of power so I used CapIW cause he puts a Petrify on them when you Parry and that will help control the Power Gain.
Quest Boss: Ebony Maw (Mystic)
Main Nodes:
Heavy Bias - 2: More likely to try to Heavy.
Backup Recovery - 2: When he drops under 50% health he gets a burst of 25% Power. If you block this he gets a 20& Max Health instead.
Power Focus 2: He gets +60% Combat power Rate while under 2 Bars. -80% above 2 Bars.
Knockdown Dot - 3: When you knock him down all Damaging effects reduce their potency by 90% for 15 seconds.
Critical Setup: If you end your combo the same way as your previous combo the attack is Guaranteed. (you DON'T want to do this!!)
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: YES!!! Got the solo (easily) with CapIW. I HATE Maw. Like A LOT! So this was a big win for me. CapIW helps a lot with being able to absorb the damage from blocking his SP2. Any who- HELL YEAH!
Round 2: Didn't go as well as the first round- tried a couple champs and died. Finished up with CapIW.
Round 3: Used a revive here. Had a bad run. CapIW did most of the work. I thought Gladiator Hulk was immune to Maw's degen- but I was wrong.
Round 4: Solo with Torch.
Final Round: I Torched him again.
Civilian Intel:
Black Widow DO: Apparently it's "shocking" how good she is for this fight. Wish I had her!
Quick Silver is great for this fight.
OG Hulk can chain-stun him into oblivion!
Torch: MELT THE WORLD!

Chapter 3.1: COSMIC | New Avengers | A-Force | Fantastic 4
Main Nodes:
Short Temper: Each Cross Charge gives you a +30% Attack Rating. After winning a fight. you convert that Cross Charge with you (up to 5 Cross Charges) into Fury Passives and those last the next 2 fights.
Powerful Objection: #New Avengers, #A-Force or #Fantastic Four Attackers gain a Power Gain Buff whenever they interrupt any of the Defender’s attacks, granting 33% of a Bar of Power over 8 seconds. Max stacks 1.
Robust Rivalry: Whenever you don't have a Buff the Defender passively Regens 1% every second.
Explanation: Play pretty much normal- launch specials and try to intercept and rush in after their specials. Also- bring Buff Heavy champs.
Bring:
Cosmic champs: Need buffs. Hulkling, Hyperion, etc... Herc (with OG BP synergy)
#New Avengers/#A-Force: Hyperion, Miles, Jane Foster, Wiccan, Wolverine, Sunspot, Miles, CMM, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk , Rogue, Kamala Khan, Sigil Witch, Scarlet Witch, Iron Fist (White), OG Spider-Man, Squirrel Girl,
#Fantastic Four: Human Torch, Mr F, Invisible Woman, Thing, Super Skrull
Any champ who can counter regen - Void, Warlock
Champs with lots of buffs
Sarge's Strategy: Gain the cross charge with tagged champs by throwing specials or punishing defender's special (basically dash in immediately after defender's special is over). Hype/CMM work really well as they can gain buffs to stop the 1% regen
Crowd Sourced Intel: Synergy- Hercules + OG Black Panther: Gives Herc Unblockable specials.
Landmine Path Fights:
Right Path | Non-Portal: First fight is Sauron- I hate fighting him. I did a restart on the path cause I flubbed up with Angela. I used Venom this time and had a Perfect Fight- push him to his SP2 as much as you can (I was able to do it the whole fight). Only other challenging fight is Peni at the end- but Hulkling was made to hard counter her so I didn't have any issues (mainly that it usually takes FOREVER to fight her). Brag: I used my 7* Venom the Duck for all but Sauron and Peni on this path and it was SOOOO much fun!! I'm very happy he was my first 7*!
Portal C: First fight is Heimdall- normally this is an easy fight- but this path has a ton of power gain to SP2. I used Doom, i suggests a champ that can Power Drain or control power and ignore the Nodes etc. His SP2 is too hard to Dex. Everyone else has easy SP2s.
Portal D: Bring a counter for Ikarus.
Portal E: Future Ant-Man wasn't bad. But there is a Shuri next- I used Angela cause she can Parry non-contact hits.
Quest Boss: Moondragon (Skill)
Main Nodes:
Aggressive: She's gonna attack a lot.
Empathic Connection: When you complete a 5-Hit Combo, both of you are afflicted with a Power Sting debuff for 9 seconds. If either you or her use a Special the Power Stings are removed and whoever lauched the Special takes a bunch of Damage.
Harmful Thoughts: When you parry you both get a Bleed Debuff. If either of you are immune to Bleed you take direct damage.
Ebb and Flow - Intercept: She has Protection. Take it down by intercepting. It also grants you a Fury for 12 seconds. When the Fury expires (12 seconds) she gets her Protection back AND all debuffs on her are Purified.
One Eye Open: 100% damage dealt while she is stunned is dealt back to YOU!! Be careful of Parry and attacking!
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: OK. She's pretty easy with Hulkling. Just DON'T parry her and hit her. I took my Hulkling in with like 20% health and got the easy solo. Her SP1 is super easy to dex. Just don't rush in because she can't be hit until she comes back down from her little floaty thing. Work in the intercepts- she was pretty aggressive so that was easy- and you don't want to do full 5 hit combos anyway because of the Empathic Connection node. I never saw her SP2, so I don't know how easy it is to Dex. If you have Hulking or any champ that can go Unblockable you are gonna be fine- just don't use a Champ that stuns because of the One Eye Open node.
Round 2: I tried a few different options. Any champ "can" do this fight- Venom, Hyperion, Etc. But do not get hit. One combo and you are done. Also- her SP2 is devastating. If you have Hulkling- he's the best option I have found so far.
Round 3-Final: I used a plethora of champs. She is not hard, you just have to play the intercept game and not ever get hit. I still found Hulkling to be the easiest but I used Hyperion, Venom the Duck, Venom etc with no issues.
Old Sarge's Final Thoughts: Bait that SP1. Her SP2 is pretty much Game Over. On her SP1- stay close and go in as soon as she starts to drop to the ground. Backdraft intercept. She is aggressive so it isn't too bad. Just don't get hit. lol. And don't hit her if you stun her (includes Parry).
Civilian Intel:
Herc or Hulkling. Anti miss counters can help keep the flow from sp1 though ultimately you need to intercept.
Namor! and Rogue both work well here.
Rouge, I like her sp2 in the corner, and her sp1 allowed me to ignore power sting damage if I forgot about it. I just felt she was safe and she got easy solos for me.
Gambit is a great play here.
Kitty Pride: use the Tigra Synergy!
She‘s aggressive so you can do MLLL-dash back-MLLL loop. Her Sp1 evade not a problem, once she starts meditating do a M attack to get close, wait for her to land then start throwing those hands as the MLLL loop begins again. One shot with Corvus, no armor break or true strike.
Boss Fight:
Hammy Plays MCOC
Chapter 3.2: SKILL | Defenders | Thunderbolts | Inhuman
Main Nodes:
Short Temper: Each Cross Charge gives you a +30% Attack Rating. After winning a fight. you convert that Cross Charge with you (up to 5 Cross Charges) into Fury Passives and those last the next 2 fights.
Mixed Martial Arts: #Defenders, #Thunderbolts and #Inhuman Attackers inflict a Physical Vulnerability Debuff on the Defender whenever they end their Combo with a different attack than they ended their previous combo with, reducing the Defender’s Physical Resistance by 10% for 6 seconds.
Distinctive Debuffs: #Defenders, #Thunderbolts or #Inhuman Attackers gain a Cross Charge each time they inflict the Defender with an Armor Break, Bleed or Physical Vulnerability Debuff. Max stacks 10. This ability has a 1 second cooldown.
Energy Interference: Every 6 seconds the Attacker is inflicted with a Power Lock Passive for 4 seconds. If the Defender is inflicted with a Debuff this timer is reset.
Explanation- End combos with different attacks to apply a physical vulnerability debuff. Gain a cross charge when applying physical vulnerability, armor break or bleed debuff. You're inflicted with a power lock passive if defender doesn't have a debuff
Bring:
Skill Champs: Any, but those that place Physical Vulnerability, Bleed, or Armor Break the defender are better
#Defenders: OG Ghost Rider, HtD, Luke Cage, Namor, Iron Fist, DDHK, Electra, Jessica Jones, MoonKnight, OG Punisher, Valkyrie
#Thunderbolts: Red Hulk, Man Thing, X-23, Electro, TaskMaster, Juggs, Abom, Agent Venom(with Synergy is a cheat code), America Chavez, Zemo, Xbones, Red DP, DocOc, Elektra, Ghost, OG Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Iron Patriot, Kraven, Luke Cage, OG Punisher, Red Guardian, Rhino, Taskmaster, Winter Soldier
#Inhuman: Karnak, Medusa, Quake, BlackBolt, Kamala Khan
Civilian Intel: Both Agent Venom and Kraven are #Thunderbolts, Add in Scorpion and Agent V walks through this Quest.
Landmine Path Fights:
Easy Path: Stupid Annihilus on this path. Gods I hate him. (Civilian Intel: Just Doom him)
Portal B: This whole path is a bit of a pain- they all start out Stun Immune and it rotates through Stun/Slow/Heal Block Immune. Second fight is Spidey Supreme- bring a champ that doesn't gain Buffs- preferably Red Guardian as he is #Thunderbolts. I used OG Ant-Man. I still died at the end. So I brought in Nick and I lost his Decoy. Tough fight, I had a hard time Dexing his SP1. His SP2 is brutal! This fight will probably stop a lot of people- or be a Revive suck. Bait his SP1. The rest or the fights aren't bad. Just remember they start Stun Immune and then they go Stun Immune as the rotation rolls around. Use Intercepts and Special Punishes.
Quest Boss: Adam Warlock (Cosmic)
Main Nodes:
Use It or Lose It -3: You have 6 seconds to use a Special when you cross a Bar or you lose 20% of Max Power.
Sensing Souls - 2: If you have a Debuff his Defender Power Rate is increased by 100%.
Usurpation - 2: Your Total Combat Power Rate is reduced by 100%. Every 15 hits on your Combo Meter lets you steal a Bar from him.
Attacker Special Burst Lock Down - 3: When you activate a Special he gets an Armor Break and a Heal Block for 15 seconds.
Old Sarge Says:
Round 1: This was super easy for Nick Fury. His SP1 is a melee hit first and has a air blast looking thing at the end. I just blocked the blast and took very little damage. Then you can rush in and attack. I never saw the SP2- Nick killed him too quick. Doesn't seem to be too tough a fight.
Round 2: Yup- Civilian Intel was correct- Agent Venom makes this a joke fight. One SP1 and he was dead.
Round 3: I ran in with Gwenpool to play around and I made a few mistakes, like pushing him to his SP3. Finished up with Nick. Don't hit him while he is in his Stasis pod- you will get stunned. And there is a final attack on his SP2 that I kept forgetting about after the beams- so watch for that. Still a pretty easy fight.
Round 4: I actually died with Agent Venom- again don't forget the last attack after the beams of the SP2. lol And don't rush in right when he comes out of Stasis Pod- I missed and he made me pay for it. Finished the fight with Nick.
Round 5: I took Scorpion in and did pretty well. Got him to 40% before I took a 5 hit combo into a special to the face. He goes immune or immune to Parry when he has a Sovereignty Buff and that tripped me up. Finished him off with Kraven just to have some fun.
Round 6 - Final: He's an easy fight. I used either Nick or Agent V for the rest just to get it over with quickly. Agent V (synergy trinity) is probably the fastest and easiest option.
Old Sarge's Final Thoughts: Easy defender to handle. Just don't hit him when he's cocooned in his Safe Place.
Civilian Intel:
Spidey Supreme: Phase the world!!
BWCV: She has a lot of hits in her SP2 which helps Usurpation node and controlling his power. Even better if you have a Relic.
Dragon Man is a great option for this fight.
Doom!!!!!
Agent Venom (with synergy) makes a mockery of this fight.
Sorc Sup: She steals a lot of his power.
